Let’s whine.

My hands and feet hurt, basically all the time and it’s getting really annoying. I dunno what happened but I know that it started around September and just stopped for a short while in like October or something.

Back in the days it was usually the joints, and usually only the hands, but now it’s my feet and even the muscles that hurts, and it goes up towards the arms and legs.

I hope that it’s weather related, cause that means that it should go away as soon as the cold disappears and we see some sun. You can always hope, right?

22:09 pm and Lev is just finishing up a 12 hour work day, I’m sleepier than sleepy and wonder how I’ll manage to stay awake on New Years Eve. The bunny is being weird, weird like pulling his bed around, being a rascal and doing “deaths flops”.

It might be an interesting evening, if I can stay awake.

I’ve had nice days since my last update, just taking it easy and doing whatever I feel like. I figure that you can end the year like that and start the new one with more energy, so I’m resting and preparing now…

Anyways, the other day I hooked up with my sister to do some shopping. Most stores over here have sales now so I wanted to see if I could make some good deals on makeup, which is my major weakness.

This is what I came home with:

I’m happy with all the purchases but blush is a bit extra cause it was 70% of the original price. Funny thing is that I would have paid full price if it wasn’t for my sister who pointed out the 70% off thing to the cashier, I’m too passive for stuff like that
I’m hoping that I have the chance to head out some more soon, there’s a few more stores that I wanna check out. Even tho they belong to the same chain they differ in what they have on sale and how big the discounted price is.

Gotta mention that it was thanks to my wonderful partner and best friend that I even got to go and shop for makeup as I’m a bit low on money now after the holidays, he gave me money to spend, without and buts or catches. Thank you Lev, I love you <3

Today I’ve done two things, played Viva Piñata and watched Lev update my desktop computer.
Viva Piñata is going good, I’m at the end and only 3 achievements away from perfecting the game. I wanna beat it tho, I wanna play the sequel that Lev got my for xmas.
Other than that I backed up the stuff on my computer today so that Lev could update it, I’m now running Karmic Koala (9.10) and everything is up to date and working now. Sweet.
Only issue is that I’m lazy and depend on my browser to remember my passwords for me and since we did a clean install of everything I had to go through my e-mails to find passwords to my different accounts. Took me like 5 minutes just to get in to this blog

Well, off now. Gotta decide what to do with the rest of this evening…

Same procedure as last year, only difference was that the big family got together at my folks place instead of at my uncle’s house.
I got nice gifts, got money, book, nail polish, eye shadow palette, nail art, decorative lamp, hair straightener. I also got the traditional pajama, this year a black one with Hello Kitty on it, major score. Lev got a fire extinguisher from my parents (haha) and Tommy The Movie from my sister.

I gave Lev the movie Dr Strangelove on Blu-Ray and an acoustic guitar. He was also supposed to get a book, the Jquery Cookbook but that didn’t arrive yet.

Lev gave me an ergonomic pillow and Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise. He might have something else up his sleeve but I dunno yet cause he can be pretty secretive.

We kept our xmas tradition and watched “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”. Also spent close to 3 hours on Skype with Lev’s mom and oldest brother with family, that was fun.

Went to some malls cause Lev wanted to stock up on fireworks. Like he doesn’t have enough left from last year…. tss Listened to Bob Dylan and had pain in the joints in my hands and feet.

I’ve been up since 6:30 am and now me and Lev are making smoke bombs (haha), in a couple of minutes it’s time for us to start getting ready for the day.

NeroAnima Happy Holidays

Besides a melting brain I’m handling the xmas stress a bit better this year Haha. I decided to do the fun things and forget about the rest, I mean, who wants to clean when you can paint your nails?

Yesterday was a boring day that was also a bit stressful, I had physical therapy, a meeting and wanted to pick up our Christmas tree, all before it got dark and started snowing again. I made it and now the tree is decorated and up in our living room, also put up our Christmas stockings as well.

Today I’m just gonna make a “Janssons Frestelse” so that Lev has something to eat on tomorrow evening and then clean up a little bit here and there. After all that is done I’m heading over to my folks house where we’re gonna decorate the tree and then eat dinner.

Another day to end, and one day closer to xmas. Today me and Lev went out and got the last stuff and then when we came home I had a laundry time that awaited me. My head is tired but luckily laundry doesn’t really require any effort or thought, I’ve done it so many times that it goes on routine.

Back to things now, they’re piling up and there’s so little time do it all.

We got like tons of snow over here right now and I’m loving it unless I’m in a car

Today I went to see my folks and grandparents. A ride that usually takes me like 25 mins took close to an hour today and I think that the top speed was somewhere around 50 km/h. Maybe I could have gone faster but I share my philosophy with Marge on speed which means “slow and steady wins the race”, at least on icy and/or snowy roads.

The visit to my grandparents was nice, I try to pop by before xmas. I had bought the obligatory ceramic santa figurine for my grandma (she collects them and have them all over the house) and everything. Oh, I also met their puppy, it’s a mutt (German shepherd, Rottweiler and Labrador) that’s called “Putte”. He was adorable and seemed to like me.
After a little while my uncle, his wife, my cousin and their dog Doglas popped by for a visit. We let the dogs play in the snow and then we walked around the area a bit. My grandparents lives next to two lakes and forest so the scenery was beautiful, me and my camera could have wished for some better light tho

I really like this weather, to walk around in snow that reaches up to the middle of my legs and all. The only thing is that you gotta have the right clothes for it so you don’t get wet or cold.
Today I had on long hood with t-shirt underneath, cotton leggins and ski pants, two pairs of socks, jacket, mittens, hat and knitted scarf. And yeah, my “nazi boots” as well.

The boots are not “Nazi boots” at all, that’s just what my dad called them when he saw me coming home with them. Maybe it was the price that made him make that remark.
It’s steel cap boots from Underground Shoes, vegan leather (yay!) and I bought them for 200 dollars at least 7 years ago. In retrospect that was a great buy considering that they’re till in great condition and perfect for this weather, lasted for that long and that they keep my feet warm and dry even tho I walk around in the deep snow.

I got pics but am waaay too lazy right now to resize them and brand them for the blog, hopefully I’ll get to it tomorrow.
