Today really didn’t turn out the way I expected, unfortunately.

First, at 8:30 am I had an appointment with “my” doctor at the closest clinic, as I had finally made up my mind to see if something is up with all the headaches. I was little nervous since I don’t like to go the doctor and last time was a couple of years ago.

The doctor, who shared my first name, was really nice and listened to me really good. She took my headaches serious and did a check up on (including blood works)
She, just like me, suspect that it’s tension related and wants me to see a physical therapists to help me with the tensed muscles, like gimme some exercises and stuff. We talked about some meds and she also wanted me to do a CAT scan on my head and since she didn’t want me to be stuck in a like 3 month line she decided to send my in directly to the emergency room so that I would get it done today, she also told me that I could get prescribed pills for the headaches there too probably.

So yeah, off to the big hospital in Lund with some papers as soon as I had to talked to my boss and Lev.

First I spent like probably 45 minutes or something just waiting for my number to be called so that I could get registered in the reception. Once that was done it was back to waiting again, close to like 2 hours or something before I get called (I didn’t have high priority, and I shouldn’t either) by a doctor.
The doctor asks me the same questions as the earlier one and does the same tests. She wanted to check my eyes (for signs of pressure in the head) and went to get some thing for that. As it was occupied she asked me to sit down for another 10 mins out in the waiting room. The 10 mins turned in to like close to an hour before I was back in again. She checks my eyes and basically tells me the same shit the previous doctor did, expect that she doesn’t think that I need any CAT scan or medicine.

So yeah, I wasted over 4 hours today at the friggin emergency room and they did jack sh*t for me. As the first doctor that I saw was more nice and actually listened to me I think I’m gonna stick with her, and if my headaches still are as bad as they are I might get another appointment with her so I can get some meds.

That was my day, or almost at least but the rest is a nicer story and that deserves an entry of its own (eventually)

It’s Tuesday and my case of the Monday’s is finally over.

Had a pretty blah weekend with headache and feeling low, the highlight of it was when we talked to mom over in Texas.

Monday followed in the same trail, starting with me coming out to the car and noticing that someone tried to break into it. Nice. No marks really or anything, I just noticed that the lock and handle was sticking out meaning that someone wanted to get in. What a bunch of losers and I would almost laugh if they did steal the car cause it’s such a piece of sh*t car that it’s ridiculous. So yeah, now I can’t open my door with the key so whenever I go somewhere I gotta get in on the passenger side and open the other door from the inside, big hassle that I hate. Thankfully I got this extremely handy daddy that said that he could most likely fix it.

Woke up with a headache this morning for the like fourth day in a row. Got angry with my expensive pillow that is supposed to make it better for me to sleep (not tensing my muscles and therefor avoiding headaches) and threw it on the floor in all my anger, haha. When I got up I decided to follow an advice that almost everyone around me has mentioned (lev, mom, sister, patty, co-workers and a few others) and called the doctors place. I was surprised cause they were nice and seem to realize that this affects me very negatively, and I got a time already on Thursday. I don’t expect any miracles but some maybe there are some meds that I could give a try at least.

Went to the store and had a nice day, no angry people and a visit by a funny bird. The bird is a Cockatoo named Goofy and he liked to sit at my shoulder. At first I was a bit scared, mostly since this was my first time dealing with a bird but after like 10 mins we were pretty good buddies, lets see if he still remembers that on Friday when he’s back at the store again for a few hours.

Anyways, I’m gonna eat some popcorn and watch Simpson’s now.

Haha, it really feels like nothing went right today.

I was tired when I woke up and had a hard time to motivate myself to get ready, I felt “heavy” in my mind and just wanted to sleep. My left ear was also hurting as well as my throat.

When arriving to the store me and the boss notices tons of water on the floor. Turns out that a 250 liter aquarium has been leaking water during the night, all the fishies were ok but we mopped up water all morning and all the usual routines got delayed.

In the afternoon I cleaned cages and was bit by a little mouse.Fortunately it only hurt for a second or two, they’re too small to bit any harder. I was feeling really kinda slow and stuff in the afternoon so it was a relief when it was time to head home again.

When I came home I felt sick so I laid down in bed, with both mine and Lev’s comforter on me and a blanket, and I was still freezing.

So, bad day today, hopefully a good one tomorrow.

I’ve had a great weekend, well, if you don’t count the fire in our kitchen last night Hahaha.

Yesterday me and Lev headed out to Skånes Djurpark for a stroll, we also visited the pet store where I spend my days. After that we headed to Lidl and bought some fun stuff that you never see in other grocery stores before we headed back to Eslöv where we picked up some food in town before we drove home.
We watched AFV (hour special) and later on a movie called “The Believer”.

While we were watching the movie Lev had an urge to eat popcorn so he threw in a bag of Jolly Time Cheddar Popcorn in the microwave oven. After a few minutes it smelled burnt and when he checked out the bad he noticed that only half of the bag had popped and all the popped popcorn was totally black. Didn’t really think more about that, he put it on the stove with the fan on so the bad smell would air out and threw in a new bag in the microwave. The second bag popped perfectly and we sat down to enjoy it in front of the movie when all of the sudden the fire alarm goes off… We jump up and run into the kitchen where we see fire.
The first popcorn bag has caught on fire, melted the fan filter above the stove and a plastic strainer as well as burned the paper on the cookie sheet. With the help of some water we put the fire out (being cautious with it tho, water on hot oil can cause an explosion)
The stove hood was covered in sot and the kitchen smelled like melted plastic and burned popcorn, not so nice. The degus, who now resides in the kitchen, didn’t seem to be hurt by all the smoke so I was relieved over that. Screw the stove hood and all that jazz, I care about my degus more.
Even tho the stupid popcorn started a fire we still had a nice evening, watched some Futurama after the movie ended and just a had a great time.

Today I really slept in, I didn’t wake up until 9:30 am (I was surprised) First thing I did was to sit down by my computer and Google on how you remove sot the best way, haha. I struck gold on my first attempt and got really happy when it turned out that soft soap made from pine oil (“grön såpa“) and a regular eraser did the trick the best. manage to both dissemble and reassemble some protective glass stuff that sometimes can be tricky, sometimes I’m somewhat of a handy girl

After the cleaning me and Lev headed out hunting for a new fan filter to the stove hood, unfortunately we didn’t find one but came home with some other neat stuff instead. We bought ourselves 3 DVD’s, food and then Lev got a usb-fan and some usb-charger while I got a foundation brush.

Well, I’m gonna see if I can pick up the bunny from Kindergarten (=balcony) now and get Lev to take some time off (he works too much) and enjoy the rest of this evening. Hopefully without any fires.

Yesterday wasn’t a good day… I woke up with a headache that later on got worse then I’ve experienced in a really long time. I was sent home from the store cause I was all shaky, dizzy and was close to throwing up cause of the pain. I drove home and barely remembered how that happened (safe, huh?) and then just collapsed in bed.

But, today is a new day and I’m up and about, it’s Friday and I’m a good mood so hopefully nothing can go wrong today. I’m not gonna be home until 6:30 pm today but that’s all ok, when I come home I’m usually greated with good food and today maybe even a movie (Stargate on Blu-Ray perhaps?)

Btw, I don’t think I posted this pic of our precious degu, Cola, on here so I think I’ll share it with ya all today. It’s an old pic, from 2007 but she’s still just as pretty (and loony)

Look out the window and thinks “it’s looks cold”, then I go to see what the weather station says. When I see that it’s below zero (=frost) I don’t get surprised and makes a mental note of dress warm (I get sooo cold all th time)

Wednesday today, doesn’t mean anything special in any way which is both good and bad. Bad cause I don’t know what to do with the day and good cause there’s nothing boring planned so far

We got crappy internet connection today which annoys me, our 100mb/100mb connection is usually really reliable and works like a charm but today it’s all slow and blah. It’s like with a car, once you’ve gone fast you never wanna go back.

Well, I need to jump in the shower, I have to wake Lev up in 20 mins so better get going with everything I have to do before I’m off to the store.

I just noticed that I haven’t updated this blog in 5 days, and that’s bad The week has been a bit hectic with some attempt of drama, or I guess you could say that, plus I have been sick.

Nothing to worry about when it comes to the sick part, it’s a normal cold and no swine flu or something bad like that, haha. Just been having fever and runny/stuffed nose, that’s all.

The drama, well… Haha. Some people like to start fights and whatnot but I’ve come to a point in my life when I feel that I’ve matured so much that I don’t wanna waste my valuable time on drama queens so it all just didn’t happen. I’m just gonna ignore the person and if they wanna fight or be an “asshole” ,as they love to call themselves, then fine with me, I’m just not gonna fight back or do anything about it, just feel sorry for the person as they obviously have a miserable life if they have nothing better to do than to try and start fights on the friggin internet. Enough said about that, already wasted a couple of minutes writing this down

Other than that the week has been good, and everything at the pet store has also been going good. Some day ago we got tons of new fishies in, that was fun as I don’t know much about fish and found it to be a great opportunity to learn some more, which I did.
Little Lev has been sleeping inside all week too and now he spends a couple of hours during the day out on the balcony. It’s like he’s a kid and that we drop him off and pick him up at kindergarten, haha My little bunny!

Even tho the week has been good I did look forward to the weekend, and being able to sleep in. Funny thing is that today I woke up before I usually get up during the weekdays… haha. I’ve planned to write and take some pics of makeup to post in the club (which has been neglected for far too long), do laundry and maybe hang out with my sister.

Well, I’m gonna see if I can get Lev out of bed, or see if Little Lev wanna go to kindergarten.

Friday:
Came home late from the store, almost close to 7 pm before I entered our apartment. Spent the evening just relaxing and talking to Lev about everything and nothing. Little Lev spent the whole night inside for the first time this autumn.

Saturday:
Didn’t wake up until 8:30 am and was surprised, had a soar throat and felt really crappy. Showered and got ready and then woke Lev up with a back rub. First stop on our agenda was my parents place where we switched cars with my mom (and dang, I really don’t like to drive her car)
Next stop was the Sci-Fi, movie and game convention i Helsingborg. The convention was fun and nice but it really could be bigger, geeks like me and Lev loves that kind of stuff. Once the convention was done and dealt with we headed out to Väla (mall) bought light fixture for Lev and he ate some food. Mall was crowded with people and I wanted to put a gun to my head…
Also stopped by IKEA where Lev bought me (us) a new TV bench, this was the reason for switching cars we wouldn’t have been able to fit it in our car.

We went home and took all the stuff inside and I had like 45 mins or something to slack before I had to get ready for the evenings BBQ at my parents. The BBQ was nice, good food and all. Got my sisters laptop with me home, it’s sick (virus) so we need to format it and re-install windows.

Sunday:
Still a soar throat and feeling crappy, bunny only woke me up twice during the night (by chewing on hard bread) Day was spent doing things that I set aside during the weeks as I have little time over, such as cleaning up a bit better.
Me and Lev went to the store and bought a lot of groceries, then we had dinner in the living room. We were supposed to spend the evening relaxing infront of a game but the server wanted differently and decided to go nuts, so now we need to buy a new server (not fun) Lev got the server up and running again after a million attempts (or so it felt) Computers are so frustrating sometimes…

Monday:
Breakfast and now I need to start getting ready.

Dang, it’s Friday again and another week in the pet store has passed. It’s like I blink and all of the sudden it’s a new week, I’m just waiting to wake up one day and realize that it’s xmas or something… Haha.

The week has been good, unless you count the cold weather that makes my body complain. I started wearing my winter jacket regularly and I’m thinking of wearing gloves today (stupid fingers that hurts)

Looking forward to the weekend a bit, it’s gonna be hectic tho so I fear that I don’t get to enjoy it as much as I would want. Tomorrow (Saturday) me and Lev are going to a Sci-Fi, movie and game convention in Helsingborg and after that out to Väla (mall) to buy a new TV bench and some light fixture for Lev. Once that is taken care off we’re invited to a BBQ at my parents at like 6 pm or something.
My guess is that we’re gonna use the Sunday to move stuff around, we’re moving the TV and the big chair that’s in Lev’s den out in the living room as he needs more space, with that comes cleaning and moving all the furnitures around.

We also need to convince the bunny that spending the days inside is just as fun as out on the balcony, haha. It’s getting too cold for us and the degus (who are sensitive to draft) to keep the balcony door open for him so he can run wherever he wants so we need to try and get him to spend his days and nights inside, which is not easy when you got a spoiled bunny that likes the balcony. My little rascal…
