NeroAnima Life goes on

It’s been a rather slow day but since I just finished one of my favorite shows, Remarkable Vets, I’m in a very good mood.

I’m still a bit sick, not much fever but my body aches still. Been playing a lot of Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise on my DS lately, it’s prefect with a DS game when I’m constantly could cause I can lay in bed and play with both mine and Levs comforter on me.

Tomorrow is New Years and as usually we try not to plan too much ahead, might head out to the local grocery store tomorrow and get something nice to eat for dinner but that’s it. We don’t do loud parties, booze or all that other jazz, we like it best to spend the night with eachother.

Well, bedroom now, I’m getting all cold again and need all the comforters that I can get a hold of.

As most know, Lev has bought a bunch of fireworks for the upcoming New Years Eve. As far as I get it it’s mainly because he can that he bought them. Yesterday we went out for a short while (since I’m sick it was just for a short one) so that he could try some out.

All of the fireworks that Lev has gotten so far, approximately $50 worth.

Me in my goofy hat, and yeah, I know I look like crap. No make up and being sick doesn’t treat you well.

I mentioned the other day that Lev didn’t get his vacation pay on time…
Well, we contacted the old boss the day after he was supposed to have gotten it (when we realized it) and didn’t get an answer until like 12 hours later. The boss said that the money had been transfered on the 23rd, to bad for them that they can’t lie very good, since the money didn’t arrive on Lev’s account until today (29th) we all know that they had forgot about it and transfered the money on the day they were reminded by Lev.
How I can tell that? Well, matter of fact is that if you transfer money on the 23rd (which was not a red day, neither was the 24th) it does not take 6 days before they show up in someones account.

Sickish today too, cold and most likely a fever. Boring, but what else is there to do than to do nothing?

Only thing planned for my sake today is to go the local grocery store and stock up on food. I feel for some nice fruits and something that I can eat for breakfast every day. Oh, and juice! I want a good juice so that I’ll get a boost of vitamins.

I don’t know if anyone actually notice this kind off things but I just updated the banner, figured that frost was more appropriate to the season over here than raindrops on green leaves

27th today, I think I’m getting sick, cold all the time and my cheeks are red (red cheeks = fever in my case) Just had some late breakfast, two sandwiches, one with red beet salad on it and another one with blue cheese on it. It sounds kinda sick now that I read it but I promise, it was very good.

Not much is planned today, I’m going to my parents for dinner later. I think my grandparents are invited too and upon a request from my dad I have gathered about 190 pics that we all can watch on their TV, they like that sort of thing.

Now I’m gonna continue playing Viva Piñata on my DS, been hooked on that game for 2 days straight now.

I don’t know if it’s weather outside, if I’m getting sick or both, but I’m freezing. No matter how much clothes I seem to put on I can’t get warm.

Anyways, I was gonna write about the day but then I got sidetracked by my own complaining. Well, ne and Lev went out shopping today, something that probably every other swede did today as well (or so it seemed at the mall…) We got an external hard drive, it’s supposed to be for me but since we made some deal and Lev paid half I say it’s his too. I have wanted an external hard drive now for a while since I have tons of pics on my computer that I wanna store for safety on another drive, I also wanna put the backups from my blog there as well.
We got a 1 TB (terrabyte) hard drive from Iomega, spent about $124 on it, pretty good deal according to Lev, who seem to know stuff like that. Right now I’m trying to get it to work, since I’m using Ubuntu I probably need to install some NTFS library.

Well, gotta reboot the computer now.

We just realized that Lev never got his vacation pay which he was supposed to get two days ago. Idiots. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: amateurs should not have their own companies!

Right now the bunny is in jail, he’s in his cage and it’s closed so he can’t get out. He’s actually only caged during the nights when we can’t keep an eye on him but today he’s been a little rascal and a little jail time could probably do him good.

When he’s not in jail he gets to run around free in the apartment, he usually sticks to the bedroom and there’s usually never a problem with him either. Today he however decided to get climb the night stand on Lev’s side of the bed in search of treats, while doing this he flipped down a ceramic bowl and the clock radio on the floor. I hear the noise and went in to see what he did, put the stuff back and told him to behave.
about 10 seconds later I hear another noise, I go in and see that he flipped down the exact same things that I just put back up on the night stand, when I told him that he was a bad bunny he started to binky (bunnies do that when they’re happy) The binky sealed the deal and I decided that some time in jail would be good for him.

We’re gonna let him out for a bit later, but for now he’s stuck in his cage.

NeroAnima Little Lev

I guess a “Merry Christmas” is appropriate today as well since some people celebrate on the 25th, so here it goes: Merry Christmas

Christmas is basically over for my part now, I don’t mind that, on the contrary, I love it. Right now I’m sitting in front of the computer in my Hello Kitty pajama that I got for Christmas yesterday from my parents. Just gonna take it easy today, eat nice food, watch good shows and all that kinda of stuff.

Yesterday was a nice day, me and Lev got in the car around 11:30 am and drove to my parents. There we had lutefisk (I had qourn fillets), potatoes, peas and mustard sauce, the traditional lunch food for us on Christmas Eve. at 3 pm it was time for the Donal Duck special and opening of gifts, we all got nice gifts this year too.
As mentioned earlier I got a Hello Kitty pajama (I get a pajama every year from my parents, it’s a tradition from at least 10 years back ) I also got a heating pad for my neck and back (no more tensed muscles), an electric grill. My sister gave me Hello Kitty lip balm and Hello Kitty socks (they all know what I like), a lovely knitted scarf and Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise for my DS (yay!)
Lev got a plush toy of Mario and a little Luigi figurine from my sister and then him an me got a weather station from my parents together.

Once the gift opening was over me, Lev and my sister got in her car and we drove Lev back to our home. I dropped him and the gifts off, said hello to the bunny and gave my man a kiss before I went out to the car again. 6pm me, my parents and sister went to my uncles house, the rest of the family on my dad’s side was there too. We had traditional julbord and then played the Christmas game, I got a little white bowl and some nuts, very nice.
Since I was very tired and actually a bit homesick for my man and new pajama I drove home around 10 pm, once home I jumped straight into my pajama and went in to the bedroom and watched some King of the Hill, ALF and the first episode of The Simpsons with Lev before I fell asleep.
