I have no clue what to write. It’s a bad day and humanity once again has shown how disgusting it is (however, my dear Lev and Britt has made me smile today so I like them )

Directly after work me and my mp3-player went out for a long walk, took me about 1½ hour and I went to places I’ve never been before. I’ve lived in this town for almost 3 years now and I don’t know my way around half of it I’m guessing that all this walking is gonna change that.
Also realized today that I’m probably in a bad need of new sneakers, I’ve got weird feet (my feet are long and slim with sensitive skin) so I need a good pair of shoes that doesn’t give me tons of blisters. I’m a bit of a cheapskate so I’m trying to convince myself that this is a very good investment. When summer turns to fall I’m probably gonna invest in a good raincoat and rain pants as for some odd reason I love being outside when it’s raining but doesn’t have the clothes for it. I think it’s because I don’t really like people and most people don’t really like the rain

I dunno what to do right now actually, got a couple of hours to kill before I can get a shower and then later hit the hay. Lev is cleaning his den (:-O ) but I’m kinda in the mood for some “photography”, maybe I’ll just grab the camera for another walk or something. We’ll see.

My sweethearts had managed to make quite a mess out of basically everything in their cage so I figured that it was time for a cleaning.
Cleaning a degu cage can sometime be a bit rough, as you can’t just grab a degu and put them somewhere else meantime. You gotta be careful as they don’t like it all when they’re being handled in a very non soft way at all.
I did manage to get all of my three little cuties out calmly and put them in their spare cage, a cage that I only use to keep them all in when I’m cleaning their “normal” cage. I spent some extra time on Pepsi and RC once they were outside of the cage sitting on my palms, trying to make them realize that I’m not hurting them, it seems to be working as it gets easier every time. There is usually never any problems with Cola, that little bugger loves attention and is willing to come out at any time. They also got a treat while they were in the spare cage, some pieces of crisp bread (as long as they don’t get food like that too often and it not containing way to much salt it’s ok)

Anyways, I washed the cage, food bowls, water bottles and removed all spare dust from cage with the vacuum cleaner, put all their stuff in and filled their bowls up with new food. They also got hay refilled and new chinchilla sand in their jar.
It’s fun to let them back in, they get so happy over the new things in there and always runs to the big jar to take a bath (degus and chinchillas takes bath in sand)

I went to the pet store yesterday but they didn’t have one of the things I was looking for so sometime soon I gotta visit another pet store, the degus love fruit shaped and flavored chewing blocks that you attach on the cage and I wanted to give them a new one. Was also thinking of some new kind of “degu-friendly” toy for them too, we’ll see what I’ll find as degus aren’t that common, most stores only seems to have things for hamsters and guinea pigs.

So yeah, I attached a pic that I took of them 5 minutes ago, sorry for the blurriness but try telling three degus to be still at them same time Haha, it’s not happening, I can tell you that.

Sunday, meaning the last day of the weekend before another week of work begins again.

Yesterday I went to the movies with my sister, as I predicted I found the movie cliché and rather boring but she liked it and I went as company, not the for the movies sake. It was nice to drink carbonated water and eat some popcorn at least (candy and sodas suck for visiting the movies)

Today I woke up late, around 09:30 am, and with a soar throat. The only thing planned for today is to take a walk and to buy some stamps. Also need to plan my eating for the next two days, if I don’t plan it, everything just goes to hell, most of the time I just end up not eating until dinner (that Lev makes me) and it’s not good for me. I need a regular schedule for eating, unfortunately it doesn’t help with me being a picky vegetarian either.
Really exciting… But better than doing absolutely nothing.

Yeah, we went out shopping, with half of Sweden’s population it felt, but what to expect when it’s the weekend after pay day and the weather is shitty?

I managed to keep my money safe in the wallet… Haha. Just came home with a new umbrella and special food for our degus. Lev got himself a new game and two pairs of shoes (I kinda forced him into a shoe store…)

Well, I’m off now, the computer feels boring and I’ve got books to read and a DS to play on.

I got a little surprise when I woke up this morning and saw that the clock was already 09:20 am, I usually never sleep longer than around 8 on weekends
Lev is still sleeping though, oh wait, he just got out of bed now.
I’ve managed to pay the bills and sent of a bill to Lev already. Unfortunately his bank is slow and has not yet fixed so that he can enter his account using Firefox 3. I gotta get him down town some day soon and hook him up with my bank, they use a better system when it comes to internet banking.

Lev mentioned something about wanting to go shopping today, wiieee, I wanna buy something! Haha, no, I don’t sound all materialistic at all Last weekend was quite boring so I need this one to be a fun one, and I think starting the day with shopping can be fun.
Later tonight I might be going to the movies with my sister, she wanted to see a movie where they dance a lot and I’m nice enough to aways fall through even though I don’t care for the movie… It’s gonna be payback time soon anyways, she owes me a movie and I always pick kids movies Kung Fu Panda, here we come

As mentioned earlier in this blog our TV broke and we handed it in for repairs about 10 days ago. When we handed it in they told us that it would take up to 3 weeks before we got it back.
Three weeks wasn’t fun but what could we do about it? We needed for the TV to be repaired as they didn’t wanna give us a new one.

Well, today I get a text message on my cell stating that Siba’s repair shop can’t handle the problem with the TV and that it’s now been sent of to an external repair shop for further processing, they also mention in the message that it will now take longer for us to get the TV back.
What the….? They couldn’t have mentioned this to us when we were in the store? I didn’t even know that this was a possibility cause we were never informed. I can try to understand why the process takes so long and everything but the worst thing I know is not be informed correctly about things. Siba is so full of it…
Friggin cheapskates too, if something is so wrong with the TV that the normal repair shop can’t handle it I don’t think it’s to much to ask for them to just replace the TV for us. The model we have is still on the market, it has gone down quite a bit in price so I don’t see what the big deal is?!

I get so disappointed at the store when I get these “news”, we paid extra money for insurance for our TV and this is how they treat their customers? I’m sorry to say but I will think more than twice than buying any expensive items from Siba again, it’s not worth the hassle when there’s other stores that might be able to appreciate their customers better…

Negative:
* I didn’t get many hours of sleep last night.
* It feels like I was run over by a truck.
* My feet hurts from my sneakers, need shoes for walking today
* Time to pay the bills. Always depressing

Positive:
* It’s been thundering and raining over here. Me like.
* It’s Friday. Thank God for that.
* I’m gonna take a course this coming fall, got the papers today.
* Most likely don’t have to buy the books for the course as I already have them.
