It’s been a long day and now I’m pooped Been working as usual, swimming as usual on Thursdays and also been shopping with my sister.

Shopping was rather pleasant, our cousin has a birthday party on Sunday and as we can’t show up empty handed we needed to take a ride to the stores. I hope she will like the gift we got her, it’s tricky sometimes to get good gifts
Well, a gift was not the only thing I came home with, of course, being a girl ;-P Also got a t-shirt, baggy pants, makeup (I always end up getting makeup Today it was an eyeshadow and lip gloss from Nivea Beatué ) and a vase. I guess you can call that a good day

Other than that I have just watched X-files (as always) and clips of Westies (West Highland White Terrier) and Cavaliers (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) on Youtube. I probably shouldn’t do that cause now I wanna get a dog real bad I asked Lev the other day what to name a potential dog (most likely be a male one) and he said “Pikachu”, haha, he’s so cute. I have no clue myself so far, I mean, what is a good name for a dog? It’s gotta be pretty easy to pronounce in both English and Swedish and I don’t want it to be something boring. Well, gotta think this one over…

Certain days after the computer has booted up and I’m logged in, I just wanna hit my head hard against the wall and then go back to bed. But, with no money, no bills get paid, so work it is.

It’s just been another ordinary Tuesday I guess, started the day as usual with working. Several e-mails to answer, the work load has been heavier on me this week, probably look the same tomorrow :-/

Just paid the bills that was due on the end of this month (and some in mid March) and that was not a funny story, but then again, it is ever funny to spend your money on rent and such? Haha. This month is tough, there was some extra bills that we normally don’t have and then the electricity company screwed us over with that surprise bill which was like 4 times as much as usual. Blah!
Anyways, the bills are all paid and I think I have about 200 USD left in my account, good that Lev owes me the money for his half of all the bills, otherwise I would be crying and figure out how to survive on air and water for the rest of the month (I’m the accountant in our household, makes sure everything is paid in time. I always pay the bills from my account and then charge Lev for what he owes me)

Went swimming today for about an hour, think I swam around 1875 meters (75 x 25) It felt really nice, I like to feel the muscles move, especially in my back, only annoying thing was that the place was pretty crowded. I hate when it’s crowded, I don’t get to swim fast enough then cause it’s not so easy to pass so many people on the two lanes exercise swimmers gets to their use. It’s not like I’m some expert or something, I’m just good at swimming and I wanna keep a decent pace, otherwise, what’s the point?

Other than that I have just played Mr. Driller on my DS Lite, watched the first episode of MacGyver and eaten a good sallad for dinner Evening awaits with reading in my book and just taking it easy.

We watch a lot of shows, me and Lev. We collect on a bunch of series and our collection of DVD-boxes are growing (sometimes to fast in accordance with my wallet hehe)

* The X- Files
Just after Christmas Lev bought the ultimate collection of X-files, containing all nine season and this is currently the show we spend most time watching. Thanks to this show I had really weird dreams about weird looking creatures when we first started watching it I really like this show cause a lot of the time it’s hard to anticipate in what the direction the episode is turning and you are always in for a surprise or two.

* Seinfeld
I collect Seinfeld, due to being cheap/poor/whatever I currently only own 7 of the total 9 seasons, but I am planning on getting the last two ones as soon as they droop a bit a in price (they always do) I love Seinfeld and have probably seen every episode already, but nothing beats having them around if we ever get to urge to watch a special episode. I really like the mix of characters that’s in the show, Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer make a very fun and dynamic group.

* King of the Hill
Oh my, Mike Judge is great cause I love King of the Hill. This cartoon series takes places in Arlen, Texas and it so funny. Lev is the one collecting this show and we currently have all of the 6 seasons which has been released on DVD, we are both waiting eagerly for some new releases as the show is still running (currently there is 12 seasons) The show was aired on tv here in Sweden for a while when I was younger, it unfortunately never picked up and became very popular.

* Futurama
Futurama was the first show that I ever got “hooked” on as it was the only one I could watch living at a house that didn’t have any cable tv This is another creation of the creator of Simpsons, Matt Groening, and I was a big fan of the series for a long time. Now a days me fascination has disappeared a little, most likely due to the discovery of other great shows, but never the less, I still like Futurama. I own the 4 released DVD-boxes and my collection is complete (Feels great) A fift season was created but as far as I’m aware this one was never released on DVD.

* Kids in the Hall
These Canadians are funny as hell! It was Lev that introduced this show after had seen it on TV when younger. There are 5 released DVD-boxes with gathered sketches and scenes from the TV-show, all of them Lev have bought through Ebay. Lev also bought their movie “Brain Candy” which is just as funny as the show. (Thank god for region free DVD-players)

* The Simpsons
When I first met Lev he was all about the simpsons and watched a couple of episodes every day, I soon also became obsessed with watching the show (at least once a day) and I think I/we have watched every episode up until season 17. I used to love the simpsons but the new seasons, excuse my language, sucks. They are just rip offs of other tv-shows and movies and everything that I loved about the shows early seasons has been lost.
I own the first season on DVD, I don’t know if I will continue getting them all, maybe if I find them somewhere and they’re real cheap *cheapskate* But, come on people, it’s expensive to collect all those seasons *excuse*

* MacGyver
When thinking of the tv-show MacGyver it always brings me back to my childhood as this a show that I used to watch with my dad and sister every week. My dad even gave me and my sister a little red pocket knife just like the one that can be considered to be one of MacGyvers trademarks, and in accordance with the show, this would be everything we needed to create bombs and whatever not out of ordinary things such as chewing gum, coat hangers and pencils.
I have since then forgot about it but when starting to work in February last year we noticed that the show was on every day around lunch time, we spent many lunches watching the show and eating something. During a trip to the mall a couple of days ago we saw the first season and I could by the look Lev gave it that he wanted it (he spent his money on a blu-ray movie) so I decided to get it. This is a series that I will most likely continue to collect.

I work in the sales and billing department at an international company and I handle peoples issues with their customer accounts, billing and whatever questions potential clients may have about our product. Sometimes I get amazed over how people can act… It’s sad sometimes actually.
People can come in and expect to us to through everything aside, policies as well as other clients, just to make them happy. We can even offer them all the help and service possible in accordance to the support and license policies that we, the support staff, follow and still have these people come back threatening to sue us, spread a bad reputation and whatever not. I really don’t know what to do with some people, the world surely does not revolve around just them, I’m just not sure that I’m the one that want to make them realize that…

How do you act when you deal with customer support?
We had an issue with our ISP not long ago and I was on the phone with them a couple of times. I made sure not to be rude even though I was angry sometimes, I know that the person handling the call is not responsible for the problem I was experiencing and I always thank them for their help before finishing the conversation. I think it’s polite to show them that you appreciated their help, that you realized that they most likely (and/or hopefully) did their best to help you in the situation.
I know that I get happy a lot of the times when I have clients and/or potential customers coming back thanking me for the help that I provided them with.

For some odd reason I associate Michael Jackson with Lev, haha I don’t even know why or if he really likes him or if just something he says but never the less, if I hear a song by Michael Jackson I think of Lev and smile Some day I’ll get Lev a postcard or a poster of Michael Jackson that he can put up in his office.

After struggling with our ISP for about a month now in order to get our outgoing e-mail on the server to work they finally unblocked it today! To bad they didn’t stick to their promise of sending a SMS when it was done so that I had to call in all pissed to find out that it should be working now. Well, I don’t care, they been so bad with handling this matter.

Now I’m just waiting for when they will piss me off next Hehe, as stated earlier, I can’t wait for the eventual 100mb/100mb line to be available.

I need a vacation. I need to go somewhere where you don’t feel that you have to stress. Need to save more money so this can happen actually cause I don’t know if I can pull of the rest of the year without a vacation.

I kinda want to travel somewhere, for vacation, now, or soon.

I bought a gift for Lev for Valentine’s Day, unfortunately it arrived one week to late but better late than never I was browsing around some site when I saw this t-shirt, he has been talking about that he wanted to get something similar, so, when I saw this I thought it was right up his alley so to speak as he almost spend more time gaming than hanging out with me (Notice: almost… haha) Anyways, here’s the t-shirt:

I’m a dog person, no doubt about it. I have been brought up with dogs around me and have always been a bit scared of cats so I guess that could be the reason.

The last year I have really felt like getting a dog of my own. I have the time right now and my current work situation couldn’t be better, money can be solved if needed. But, still, I don’t feel that the timing is just right yet, and I’m still trying to figure out the best way to introduce a dog to our other pets, I need for the degus not to be stressed out by it and for the the bunny not to feel that her territory (balcony) is being invaded as she has and probably will attack the dog. Still, I can’t help looking at ads and reading up on different breeds and what to think about, I guess it’s good to be prepared, it’s most likely not a question of if I will ever get a dog, the question is more likely when…

Been trying to think of a breed that would be suitable, which is hard since I like them all, they’re all so cute! I think that a smaller dog is preferred, due to our current living situation. I have been debating them all and I have a few choices in my head at this point, some breeds that has become my favorites.

* West Highland White Terrier also sometimes referred to as the “westie”

* Swedish Vallhund

* Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

I probably have about 5 other breeds that I have been thinking about but currently they’re narrowed down to these three. I like them all and would mind getting any of them.
Westies have always had my fascination as I like their size, the typical “terrier look” and the personality, even though it’s small to the size it can mentally be a very big dog (Just like my parents Jack Russel Terrier, Jacke )
The Swedish Vallhund has a special place in my heart as our old dog was part this breed, I love the looks and they’re very active dogs that needs a lot of activation even though they’re not that big.
Then, last but not least, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, cute little fellows. I’ve been interested in a spaniel as I have read that they’re easy to work with and a perfect family dog. I got interested in this breed after seeing a TV-show about it some time ago.

Well, as stated earlier basically, this is just me dreaming Haha. The time has to be right for dog to come into my life, it’s big responsibility and even though I’m a 100% sure that I will manage this I still feel that it has to feel right with the timing and all. Plus, if I’m getting a Spaniel I need to convince Lev that he likes them For some reason he has something against Spaniels and big poodles… Haha
