My b-day party is over and done with and I feel good. I got nice gifts and no one got sick from the food I had made pies, 2 with ham, tomatoes and chives and 2 with crayfish and dill. I also made a veggie one with quorn and mushrooms. For dessert it was cake with chocolate mousse and raspberries and wiped cream.

I got a new vacuum cleaner from my parents, exactly what I wished for! My old one works and everything but I got it when I lived alone in a one room apartment and it’s a really small one, not so fun with three rooms like we have now, especially considering that we have pets as well.

My sister gave my a nice scarf, nail polish, makeup and season six of South Park. Oh yeah, and a necklace, a pendant and Hello Kitty socks as well.

My uncle, his wife and my cousins gave my money and flowers bouquets which is always nice.

Grandma and grandpa gave me money as well, then I got a plant, blueberry jam and a cake (homemade)

Well, I’m gonna take some trash out and then just relax, I think I’ve earned that after this week of stress and cleaning

My b-day party is over and everything is back to normal. All the extra chairs and tables are back in our storage room and all the dirty dishes are now clean.

I sat down with all the nice presents I got just some hour ago and I’m very thankful for all of the nice gifts.

My parents gave me a Kenwood Kitchen Machine, the km615 model and I can as of tomorrow take up orders on stuff people want me to make them lol. My sister has already ordered cinnamon and vanilla buns and I’ll make fresh bread for Lev some day soon as well.

My sister gave me a beautiful silver bracelet, I love it. I also got a perfume (DKNY Delicious) which smells lovely, olive green tank top that I wanted and a Ben&Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie.

From my uncle, wife and kids (and dog ) I got a gift card at IKEA. Perfect!

My grandma and grandpa gave me money and a card with a dog on it. She knows how much I like animals so every year on my b-day she always gives me a card with some animal on it. Too bad my grandpa couldn’t come today because of his back pain.

My other uncle gave me lottery tickets and a very pretty black bowl that is perfect for fruit on my kitchen table, how could he know that since it was his first time at our place?

The party went very well. We had Enchiladas that Lev made, everyone liked them (or so I hoped) and for dessert I had made apple pies and vanilla sauce.
Little Lev got a lot of attention of course being as adorable as he is. My mom even stated that he was cuter than Jacke, her dog, and when she says that, then he gotta be cute!

I’m a bit sleepy now, it’s been an stressful week and now I’m kinda coming down from the hyper rush I’ve been in, so I’m gonna head for the bedroom for some TV.

NeroAnima Birthdays - lets get older, Events Little Lev

I’m tired after a whole day out. I went on a day trip with my sister, parents, uncle and his wife today and just got home about 2½ hours ago.

We went to this antique car race kind of thing, it’s usually nothing I would do but I figured a change would be nice. I have went once before when I was a kid and I liked it then, I hooked up today cause I wanted to something out of the ordinary as I just mentioned.

My dad used to be a firefighter and the fire department that he belonged to had/has this old fire truck. The fire department was cancelled due to lack of funds within the commune but my dad and some of the other firefighters started an organization where they still care for this car and sometimes take to exhibitions and races for antique cars. The firetruck was built in 1934 and was in use from 1935 until 1968 (if I remember the years correctly) and is still in very good condition, it got a Ford v 8 engine and still runs pretty smoothly.

So yeah, today we took this old firetruck to a race. The race is not the type where you’re supposed to be first over the finishing line, you merely just drive this course and answer some questions, the one with the most correct answers wins first prize. You can also win prizes for the car itself, best renovations, best mint condition and such.

At 6 am I woke up by my alarm, I woke up rather confused to why it was ringing and it took me a few seconds to realize why I had set it 7:30 am the firetruck was out of the garage and we’re soon on our way, it was only 7 degrees Celsius outside so I had tons of clothes on me.
When it comes to the firetruck you sit on the side on a bench, there is basically nothing that cover or protect you from the wind meaning that it can get pretty cold in the morning. I’m smart, I wore my raincoat and pants, it protected me from the wind in the best way possible and I didn’t freeze at all on the way there, but then again, I was wearing a knitted hat, gloves, several shirts and thick pants beside the raincoat set

The race itself was nice, the sun was shining so we didn’t need all the extra clothes, the course was about 4 Swedish mile long with 6 stops for questions. Besides the firetruck we went with there was another one, slightly older, there was also a lot of other antique cars, mostly old Volvo’s and VW’s (Volkswagen) but also some old American cars.

The trip out took basically all day and I was back at my parents place around 17:30 pm, before I went home I drove my parents, their dog and my sister to my uncle’s house where they were having dinner. I skipped that part cause I missed my best friend (Lev, of course), if I’m away from Lev that long I feel withdrawal and miss him like crazy.

Anyways, I’m tired and I’m gonna pass out soon. Just wanted to write about my very nice day out before I turn the computer off. Hope everyone else had a good day too

Yesterday was Wednesday and the third day of Lev’s and mine vacation. We decided before this week that we would do something every day so that we didn’t waste the time off being home just slacking and that’s why we have been going out every day to do fun things.

Yesterday we went to Skånes Djurpark. Some might remember that we went there on our anniversary on the 7th of May, the tickets we bought then is valid for the rest of the year so we decided to go there again to see and photograph animals.
This time there were less kids, but still enough of them running around and shouting. I understand the running around, I’d go a bit hyper too if I was 5 years old and saw all of those cool animals, I just understand why it’s necessary to shout…
Anyways, I had a really nice time with Lev, as usual. A lot of the different animals got babies since the last time we were there, like the wolfs, the lynx and the bunnies (just mentioning our favorites )
We took pics this time too, just not as many as the last time, a gallery will probably be up later today.

I don’t really know what we’re doing today, we haven’t got any plans really. Might just take the car to a town nearby or something, I’m not really sure.
Tomorrow we might go to another country More about that then.

Before I found out through an e-mail that I was fired today me and Lev went out for a day trip to a Zoo as we like to do fun things on our vacation. We went to a Zoo in Ystad here in Sweden it was pretty fun, they have about 60 different species of animals and has no particular direction with the park.
We saw different kinds of monkeys, zebras, camels and a tons of other fun animals. The lemurs became our favorites.

Both me and Lev snapped a lot of pics, I’m currently fixing mine up so they should be up in a gallery pretty soon.

Yesterday was one of the best days in a really long time, I had so much fun and spent the whole afternoon and evening with people that I like.

I wrote a short entry yesterday about it being cloudy outside and Bakken would then maybe get canceled. After that the weather cleared up and got sunny, around 14:20 pm me and Lev left our home to go to my parents. At my parents we switched to a bigger car and drove to Helsingborg where my sister lives and where we were taking the ferry from. My mom was dropped off at the local Forex and exchanged our money from Swedish kronor to Danish kronor and soon as she was picked up again we left for the ferry terminal.

There are two companies that sail between Helsingborg in Sweden and Helsingör in Denmark, Scandlines and HH-Ferries. We went with the last company as they’re ticket for bringing a car over was 100 kr cheaper than the other company, their boats aren’t that fun cause their tax free shop doesn’t have much but then again, you can’t do that much in the 20 mins it takes to go from Helsingborg to Helsingör.

The trip over was fun, me and Lev was outside for a bit so he could take some pics, it was kinda windy, but it’s always windy on the boats After some pics we went in and got the Danish money from my parents and in no time it was back to the car again (20 mins passes pretty quick)

The drive from Helsingör to Klampenborg where Bakken is located isn’t that long, just about 1 hour. we still felt that a stop at Netto in Humlebaeck was necessary, we needed drinks Me and Lev bought a big bottle of ice tea, cherry tic tacs and miracle whip (haven’t seen that before over here) while my dad and sister stocked up on beer and mom, who was driving at this point, also got a bottle of ice tea

I don’t remember what time it was when we arrived at Bakken, probably around 17:00 pm I would guess. The weather had cleared up quite a bit and there was actually a lot more people than I would have thought. We wandered around for a while in the park, checking people, rides and restaurants out.
While the folks was checking for tables at a restaurant we took of to a nearby arcade and found Tekken there, of course we had to play. Men and Lev popped in some money and the battle started, I actually won and had to play all by myself against the “computer” for quite some time, then I got bored and let my sister take over. We walked around for a while in the amusement park before we decided to eat dinner.

For dinner we all had buffet, we’re you can eat as much as you want of the different kinds of food that they offer. I had a lot of veggies and watermelon for dessert, my sister got hooked on turkey and is now trying to enforce celebration of Thanksgiving within the family each year… Hehe. Anyways, the food was really good and my folks are the best for treating us all to it!

After the dinner we walked around a little more, had some slush ice and tried out some arcade stuff. We all got hooked when we found this arcade with 2 air hockey tables in it, my sister played against my dad on one table (and she almost killed people in there the way she played… haha) and me and Lev took the second table. The first match Lev beat me but I came back and actually beat him the second time. It was so much fun!

The ride to the ferry terminal in Helsingör on our way back went quick, I saw some animal (looked like a fox or something) on the side of the road but everyone else seemed to miss it, I dunno if I was hallucinating or that everyone else were temporarily blind
We arrived to the ferries around 22:35 or so, just a few minutes after a ferry left and since it was a Saturday evening we had to wait one hour before another ferry would depart, not so fun. The hour was spent in the car, me and my sister took some really stupid pics, I still laugh when I look at them. Lev was a bit more calm than the rest of my family, my dad and sister was hyper like little kiddies and I was all laughing.

Not many people on the boat when we finally got on it. I got happy though cause I found a chocolate that I have been looking for during several months, luckily for me I got this amazing boyfriend that spoils me and got it for me

Around 01:00 we arrived at our place, really tired but very content after a really funny day in Denmark Thanks everyone for the great day!

Today it was time for something I’ve been waiting on for several months, the premier of the new X-files movie here in Sweden. Me and Lev was late getting to theater after a few twists and turns but everything turned out perfect, we arrived in town about 30 mins before the movie started and had time to go to Game and get Soul Calibur 4, visit 7eleven for drinks, pick up the tickets and getting popcorn, pretty efficient of us, huh?

The ticket went fast as I booked and paid for them a week ago, I just pulled my card in a machine in the cinema and out cam the tickets, no having to talk to anyone or anything.

As usual in Sweden you have to endure about 10-15 mins of commercials and trailers before you actually get to see the movie you came to see, which sucks. I hate this, I have to sit and listen to stupid people laughing at stupid jokes thinking what the hell do I do here at the same place as a bunch of idiots? I’m sorry, but I don’t get the so called funny slapstick comedy that all movies seems to have now a days…
Anyways, after 15 mins we got to see that movie at least. The movie was about 1 hour and 40 mins long but felt like a really long X-files episode (like the Simpson’s movie) and unfortunately not a good episode either.

You can clearly tell that it’s been several years since the last episode of the series, I felt that both the character of Mulder and Scully had changed a lot in the movie when comparing to the show. something that didn’t feel right. Also, I found the story very weak.

I’m still glad I saw the movie on the premier though, I’m still a fan of the show even though the last movie left a lot to desire.

After the movie we went out for some food, we had missed dinner and food is apparently necessary for ones survival, or so they say Haha. Went to Max, our favorite fast food restaurant for burgers and stuff, they own, without a doubt, both McDonald’s and Burger King.

Anyways, now we’re home (Duh… haha) and Lev is trying out Soul Calibur 4, my head is evil so I’m hitting the hay early tonight. Tomorrow I might do some laundry and then in the afternoon Denmark is awaiting me (and maybe Lev too if he feels up for it) if it doesn’t rain.
Me, my folks and my sister is going to Bakken, an amusement park in Denmark. I love Bakken, I used to go there every summer when being younger with the whole family and have nothing but good memories from there. We haven’t gone there the last 2 summer cause it’s so hard to get everyone together at the same with work, vacations and stuff, and I do kinda miss it. More about Bakken tomorrow though.

Now I’m gonna feed our little monsters and then get ready for bed.

NeroAnima Events, Movies

After work today we packed our thing in the car and headed for the place where my parents live, a barbecue with my folks, my grandparents and sister was planned. We went there early cause Lev wanted to try out his bow a bit as he can’t do that very often due to us living in an apartment.

Lev shoot some rounds and I snapped some pics, after about 40 mins we headed for the parents where we had a yummy dinner. After dinner we watched some pics from my parents vacation on their TV and then we also got some presents. Lev got a belated b-day gift and we also got some candy for helping out with their hours when they were away. I also got this really cool Hello Kitty thing that is candy and a fan at the same time, awesome! I’ll might post a pic tomorrow when the light is better for photography.

Before we went home we stopped at our “shooting place” and Lev got to shot a few more times, it was wind still and still pretty hot outside, perfect for activity.

It was a nice ride home, we saw four deers and a little hedgehog (or Sonic as Lev calls them sometimes) I always see deers though when taking the “country road” to my parents, they seem to like to hang out around crop fields.

Lev’s b-day cake.

It’s been such a fun day. I woke up pretty early, as usually and started my day by sketching a Moogle for Lev, I let him sleep in as it’s his day but as we were planning on going to Malmö pretty early in the day I had to wake him up around 9 pm.
We arrived in Malmö shortly after 11pm and headed for Gray’s, a store that imports and sells American food. Unfortunately they didn’t have as much to offer today as opposed to otherwise but we still came out from there a few goodies of course Got some salt&vinegar chips, Lev’s favorites and something you can’t get a hold of in a normal grocery store over here. Also got nacho cheese on a can, candy (almond Joy and 5th Avenue) and a Snapple.
After Gray’s we headed for a gaming store in Malmö that usually have a lot of fun stuff to sell like t-shirts and posters, unfortunately they have re-arranged their business and they don’t sell fun merchandise like that anymore, Lev did however get a bunch of posters for free though (MSG4 and Battlefield: Bad Company)

At this point I was rather hot (I had dressed for rain but the weather went schizo and got really hot instead) and hungry as I missed my breakfast in all my excitement so we decided to get some food. As it’s Lev’s day he got to pick the place to eat and he picked McDonald’s as you get a free Coca Cola glass for every super sized meal you order. The food was ok even though I didn’t managed to eat much of my veggie burger, got so full from the fries

After our lunch we headed for a bookstore as I was looking for some pens and drawing paper, they didn’t have what I wanted to we decided to go home. On the highway we decided to go the a nearby mall that’s on the way home to check in some stores there to see if they had what I wanted. Good choice as the bookstore in that mall had some neat stuff I bought drawing paper, 2 pens and an eraser. We also went in to the big grocery store there and got 3 DVD’s.

We spent the rest of day in Lev’s den, been watching the DVD’s we bought and eating some goodies (it’s allowed on b-days ) We also got a fun phone call today, Lev’s mom called from the states today which is always fun and nice. Both me and Lev got to talk to Rachel, who’s Lev’s niece and I gotta say that this little girl is adorable! So polite and so nice to talk to. I only wish that we both could remember the name of that favorite show on Nickelodeon that she liked… It’s nice to hear that everything is well over there and I hope that we can go over an visit sometime, I would love to meet them all even though I would be really nervous

Anyways, I’m such a good mood and it’s been such a good day. Tomorrow I gotta work but after that we might go barbecuing at my parents place, Lev like it there cause he can use his bow and I promised my mom that I would try to snap a pic of some special rose she has (she likes when I photographs her flowers) but we’ll see what we feel for tomorrow, we gotta have some nice weather too for it
