Yay or Nay: week 36

September 5th, 2011

yay.jpg

  • Wordfeud: Even tho I’m not the best at this game I still like it a lot. Everyone should play with me, scrabble FTW!
  • Fridays: I work so I can pay my bills and enjoy Fridays. Basically.
  • Malmö: It’s wicked nice, and I like it. I like it a lot. (Well, I don’t really care much for the knife man, but other than him I like it)
  • L’oreal Youth Code Super Concentrated Serum: The new thing that I can’t see myself being without anymore.
  • Hot cocoa: Just cause I couldn’t think of a better fifth option… And cause it’s good.
  • nay.jpg

  • This past summer: I want a refund on account of bad weather. Seriously, worst summer ever.
  • Telia: Yeah, like I would enjoy being screwed over when signing up for broadband. Signed up without any contracted time and over a month later end up getting a confirmation letter all of the sudden stating a contract time of 24 months. As if I’m gonna fall for that one…
  • Autumn: I dislike dark evenings and cold weather. I like summer and bright nights. Sweden is so not the country to be in if you swing that way.
  • Getting old: It’s that time of the year again… I’m gonna turn over pretty soon and how I hate it, I never needed to get any older than 20. What I want for my b-day? Anti-aging skin care of course :-P
  • Joints: You know, the ones in your body ;-) Mine are evil, especially when it comes to hands and feet. One day a hand or a foot will fall off and then I will stand there looking like a fool.

    Yays and nays

    September 3rd, 2010

    Yays:
Weekends. My new phone (HTC desire FTW). That cooking now is fun. Working for a nice company. Nice e-mails from mom in Texas and my own mommy. Futurama.

    Nays:

That being home alone still sucks. Summer seems to have ended. The back and forward button on my mouse doesn’t work to my satisfaction after switching OS. Finding a new car is tons more work than I thought. Lack of time. Loneliness.

    Yay or Nay: week 35

    yay.jpg

  • Lev: You can’t find any other person that is more supportive and caring than him, not to mention how much he spoils me. True love forever.
  • Animals: So much fun and rewarding at the same time. I think that animals is the thing that I’m the best at (exclude snakes, I’m too scared of them)
  • Ice cream: It’s cold, sweet and if I pick, got chocolate in it. Yummy!
  • Fruity Pebbles: Never been a fan of cereals with tons of sugar in them, Fruity Pebbles sure is an exception.
  • Getting the courage: I’m a shy person and I am extremely afraid of doing things wrong but this past week I’ve really let those bad feelings go and I gotta admit, it feels nice and I’m doing good.
  • nay.jpg

  • Myspace: is for idiots. Boring site that makes people brain dead.
  • Angry hamsters: It hurts if they bite you, trust me. Haha.
  • Religion:I truly believe that the world would be a better place without religions of any kind.
  • Parents that doesn’t raise their kids: No wonder the world is fucked up when parents just let their kids outside and expect them to raise themselves without any healthy role models.
  • Stress: There’s a lot of things happening at once now and it’s not easy keeping track of everything. Sadly, I know this is gonna last for almost another month, if not longer.

    Yay or Nay: week 29

    July 19th, 2009

    yay.jpg

  • Skype: One of the best programs around, the other week me and Lev had a video chat with Patty and Rachael across the globe, and it was all free. Awesome!
  • Dreams: You gotta have dreams to strive for. Mine consist of a long life together with Lev.
  • BBQ’s: Good even for a vegetarian like me ;-) I love grilled veggies and qourn fillets. Too bad we’re stuck in an apartment on third floor and are not allowed to BBQ on the balcony.
  • Little Lev: Even tho he’s not a little boy anymore (he turned 1 last Sunday) he still binkies around and acts like my little guy. I love to see our bunny being so happy all the time, it mean we’re doing something right and that he enjoys living with us ;-)
  • ALF: We’ve been watching ALF again and I like it, one of the coolest aliens around.
  • nay.jpg

  • Sunburns: I know, it was my own fault and everything but I still don’t need to like them.
  • Subway closing down: Yesterday we found out that Subway closed their business where we live, no more subs for us :-(
  • People that totally lack any form of innovation: Yeah, you gotta feel proud of your work when all you do is to rip off other people ideas cause you’re too stupid to come up with your own… *yawn*
  • Msn not working on my desktop: Been bugging me for a few days and I don’t know what’s up, if this is on Pidgin’s end or on Microsoft’s (wouldn’t be surprised if it was the last alternative…)
  • Mischief at dawn: I think I’ve been woken up at dawn at least 4 nights this past week as our bunny loves to be up to mischief early in the morning. I prefer sleep so I’m not so keen on it.

    Yay or Nay: week 11

    March 15th, 2009

    yay.jpg

  • Sunshine: A little sunshine can make my whole day. That and finding a good parking spot :P
  • Nice people online: You probably know who you are and I just wanted to say that I adore you and you guys make my days a lot more fun :)
  • Amsterdam: Just a little over a month now until our trip. I hope we don’t crash and die on the way there and that we have tons of fun.
  • Books: Keeps me entertained on rainy days, when Lev is stuck with one of his games and when the bunny is being boring.
  • Lev: Amazing guy, enough said.
  • nay.jpg

  • Snow: I’m done with winter, give me spring
  • Sleepless nights: Been sleeping bad lately and it messes up my head, not good.
  • Halfassed jobs: If you’re doing something, at least do it right.
  • Spam: I have to clear out tons of spam every day for this website, it’s boring and takes time that could have been put to something useful.
  • People I don’t know ringing on our door: I’m not interested in what you’re selling, what you want me to join or how great your religion might be.

    Yay or Nay: week 46

    November 16th, 2008

    yay.jpg

  • This months Blu-Ray releases: I’ve been looking forward to the new Indiana Jones movie, Nightmare Before Christmas and Narnia: Prince Caspian, all of them came out this coming month.
  • Co-op play: Me and Lev has been playing co-op on Gears of Wars 2, even though I suck and Lev has to do most of the work it’s still very fun.
  • Shopping with sister: Tomorrows it’s time for another trip to Gekås, it’s gonna be fun :)
  • Khaled Hosseini: Both books that he has written are great, read them.
  • Daddy: Who else comes over to fix an electrical outlet on the balcony, glues up a shelf in the bathroom, fixes my old globe and installs a spotlight in Lev’s display case? Not to mention doing it all for a meal.
  • nay.jpg

  • People that refuses to listen: You ask them to do one thing and they do the opposite, is it so hard to listen for once?
  • Buying ink for a printer: Good thing we didn’t have to get all the colors, would have been cheaper to buy a new printer in that case :-P
  • Hyped games: Gears of Wars 2 is fun to play but I still think that there are way to many cut scenes and that the environment is a tad boring, the same stuff all the time.
  • Corporate hypocrites: Isn’t a tad hypocritical when someone selling commercial software downloads tons of stuff on their own and at the same time wants to prevent piracy when it comes to their own product? Maybe it’s just me…
  • Being tired all the time: Damn dark season, makes me tired.

    Yay or Nay: week 42

    October 19th, 2008

    yay.jpg

  • The Goonies on Blu-Ray: One of my favorite movies are out on Blu-Ray, I just had to get it.
  • Ubuntu Cola: Fair trade soda that tastes good, it can’t get much better than that.
  • Perfect Day by Lou Reed: The song that I have listened to the most this past week without a doubt, awesome song.
  • Al Bundy: “Sorry, Peg, I didn’t hear you. I was thinking of killing myself.”
  • Solitaire: Underrated game, perfect to daze out on when playing.
  • nay.jpg

  • Companies laying off people: In the last week I’ve heard that a bunch of Swedish companies are laying off a lot of people, I think that just Volvo had to let go of close to 3000 people, if not even more.
  • No heat: Still no heat in our radiators, cheapskate landlord don’t realizing how cold it is.
  • Meat: Don’t eat it and don’t plan on doing so either. I’m a proud vegetarian and I wouldn’t eat my friends. What’s the difference in not eating your pet and the meat you buy at the store?
  • McCain: He has a lot of friends, he’s been tons of places and he likes to cut the spendings, or at least that’s what he says when he debates (Anyone seen the political debates probably noticed that he says those three statements a lot) Sorry to say, I don’t buy it and I don’t think that the politic that he supports will help the states in the positive direction which is needed (Not that I can vote or so anyhow, but still)
  • Snobs: Stupid people that I don’t like, stay away from me. Thank you.

    Yay or Nay: week 41

    October 12th, 2008

    yay.jpg

  • Love: 3 years, 6 months and 5 days has passed and we’re still going strong. I love my Lev.
  • Salt and vinegar chips: My Lev is happy, he’s been talking about these chips since we first got together 3½ years ago.
  • Cool neighbors: I like them and they seem to be very nice people.
  • Halloween: Coming to a place near you soon… well, we already got two real pumpkins and there might be some more coming, you never know with us.
  • Hello Kitty socks: It’s Hello Kitty and they keep me warm, what else can I ask for?
  • nay.jpg

  • People: Don’t like them, don’t wanna interact with them.
  • Skoda cars: Just like Volvo: ugly, ugly, ugly. Not to mention their fucked up commercial on TV that just makes me wanna vomit…
  • Brands: I want a new back pack but as I don’t want some one with a brand all over it (like Nike, Puma or whatever) it seems hard to find a good one. Blah.
  • Delayed gaming releases: I was expecting to play some LEGO Batman this weekend but now it looks like I’ll have to wait until next week. Well, at least it’s not as bad as Too Human which took about 9 years (if not more) to develop.
  • Leather and furs: I’m sorry but I find the fact that people wear leather and fur (real that is) disgusting. This is my opinion and I stand for it. Animals are my friends and I don’t wanna eat them and I don’t wanna wear them. It’s sad how people loves to wear a dead cow but would never think about wearing their pets, what’s the difference? Hypocrites.

    Yay or Nay: week 40

    October 5th, 2008

    yay.jpg

  • My new grey jeans: I love them, what else can I say?
  • Future plans: Things that might be implemented in the future makes me happy and makes me wanna wake up every morning.
  • Game releases for October: October treats every gamer (and other people) to a few fun game releases. I’m interested in the Lego Batman game and Fable 2. Lev is besides the two mentioned games also waiting for Saints Row 2, Fallout 3 and Mirrors Edge.
  • Google: Google is everyones friend, and enemy. One can find out so much stuff with the help of Google.
  • Doodling: I totally forgot to post about all the gifts that Lev got me for my b-day, one of them was the 120 prisma colored pencil set I wanted so badly. Oh my, I love these pencils and yesterday I doodled a little alien for Lev :P Haha.
  • nay.jpg

  • People not responding: When I email a company or so I expect to get an answer within at least 48 hours. I’m awaiting two e-mails, one I have waited on for over a week and the other one is closing in on 36 hours. Don’t they get that it’s bad for their business?
  • Missing someone: This week I haven’t spent any time with my sister or Jacke, I’m starting to miss them now.
  • Cold weather: I’m constantly cold and it ain’t fun.
  • Headaches: It’s been another one of those days when my head has been hurting like hell and I’m willing to shoot my brains out with a riffle. I’m thankful for the wheat bag I have borrowed from my sister, it helps a lot.
  • That I can’t think of the last Nay thing: Damn, it must have been a decent week when I manage to only think of 4 things that has pissed me off.

    Yay or Nay: week 36

    September 9th, 2008

    yay.jpg

  • Little Lev!: Our cute little baby bunny (about 8 weeks old now)
  • Autumn: Nice colors and nice cool air, perfect for a stroll with the camera.
  • Incense: Lev is in this phase where he burns a lot of incense, it makes the apartment smells very nice.
  • Sunrise: Thanks to Little Lev I got to see the sunrise some day ago. Really amazing light.
  • Rain: Ok, don’t kill me for this one but some rain is always nice. I wish it would rain a bit more over here, I’ve got a raincoat, rubber boots and a camera that I like to take pics of water with.
  • nay.jpg

  • People that can’t do basic math: I don’t expect everyone to pull of advanced math but you should know the basics, like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, at least if you went to school for more than 9 years.
  • Getting a cold:Autumn always means getting sick for my part. It sucks, I’ve got things to do and don’t have the time to be sick.
  • Realizing that my salary was crappier than I thought: Lol, this is a fun one in some sad way. I always knew that I was paid badly for the position and the job I was doing at my old work place, today when I checked it out further I realized that the pay was even shittier than I first thought, my hourly rate was lower than what I had while working a friggin dairy at the age of 17 :-P
  • Firefox 3: Everyone that I know that has used it or is using this new version of Firefox all say that it sucks. I’ve used it on Lev’s computer and I didn’t like it all, I’ll refrain from upgrading on my computer for as long as possible.
  • Adam Sandler: I still like the early movies but I would have been better of not watching the new ones that he releases under Happy Madison ever so often. Blah.
