At 8 am I woke up today by it being very bright and hot in our bedroom, not that I mind really cause I hate sleeping the day away. Plus, today I had plans, my sister had booked me for a trip to Malmö and Lev for a trip to Game to pick up Call of Juarez 2.

First it was Malmö with my sister, we took the car in and I got to drive as I know that town a lot better than she does. We walked around for about 3 hours with a few breaks and looked in tons of stores, had a great time. Most of my money I spent in the American import store which always gets a visit if we’re in town. Just bought some stuff for Lev, like Devils Cake mix for his b-day (as requested), Salt &Vinegar chips from Pringels, some cheese crackers in the form of Goldfish, two candy bars and then one box of mac&cheese from Krafts. For myself I got Skittles (the European kind without gelatin) and cold Snapple since I was thirsty
At Indiska I also bought Lev two packs of incense since he’s crazy about stuff that smells good Haha.
For myself I actually bought less, I like to spoil my man cause it’s fun to see how happy he get when I surprise him with stuff Anyways, I bought myself two nail polishes, nail art stickers, a glass file for nails and then a new powder brush.

It’s been a hot day with tons of sun so after 3 hours outside both me and my sister was pretty wiped and decided to go home after a visit at the Ben&Jerry ice cream bar. I think I arrived home around 2:30 pm.

I barely got inside before Lev asked if we could go and pick up his game, haha. Since he had initially had booked my company first but said it was ok for me to go to Malmö today with my sister even tho I promised him to go to Game, I just switched clothes and drove him out to Game. We just went in to Game, he got his game and then we went to the grocery store.
Fun time at the grocery store tho cause we discovered that they had Snapple again, we probably got like 15 bottles of them, including my two favorites, peach/raspberry and kiwi/strawberry.

Anyways, time to get something to eat not. Besides a baguette with cheese and an ice cream I haven’t eaten anything else today. it’s been way to hot for food.

Dang it’s hot, out weather station reports close to 86F outside and 74F inside, I don’t think I need to mention that I’m hot? Haha.

I almost forgot what I was gonna write… Haha. Anyways. I’m a little like Lev, I go through phases where different things interests me and I get really into them, lately it’s been nails. I’ve never been interested in my nails before more than trying to keep them clear cut and not biting on them so it feels weird that I got all into nail polish and whatnot. Right now I’m thinking of nail decorations, I think I wanna get some of those nail stickers that you can get, just to see if I can pull it off. I did French manicure on my nails yesterday and it turned out tons better than I thought it would, maybe the nails can look even prettier with some simple nail decorations… Hm, gotta look into that.

Other than being hot today I spent some time with my sewing machine that I don’t take out of the closet often enough… Shame on me! Lev had a pair of pants where the seam around the pocket had torn that he wanted me to fix and I had a skirt that I shortened.
I thought his pants was gonna be a little of hassle due to the thick fabric (army cargo pants) but I got surprised, it was easier than easy So was a my skirt, it’s one of those linen ones and I bought it like 2 years ago but never wore it much cause I thought it had an annoying length, a little to long. Well, the other day I found in my closet and decided to fix it, no need to have a skirt laying around for no reason, I cut off 10 centimeters and now it’s perfect!

Back to life, life outside of the internet

It’s almost unbelievable but we still have very nice weather with a lot of sun and a hot temperature. I’m surprised, feels like it was ages ago that we had a nice and warm summer over here.

Yesterday was just like today, hot and sunny, so you basically just walk around the house sweating. Nice. Anyways, we got a new ad from Netto and I saw that they were selling Pretzel Pete there this week so I immediately told Lev, who wanted to go there right away. They had Pretzel Pete at Ica some weeks ago but sold out pretty quickly, a lot thanks to Lev that bought over 10 boxes, so he was happy that they now sold them at another store.
At Netto we ran into someone we haven’t talked to in years, Jacqueline., which was tons of fun. It was nice to hear that she was doing fine (more than fine) and that she has a job that she loves.

Today I spent the day out, first at my parents place with mom and sister and then shopping with sister and then back to parents place again.
Did french manicure on my sister cause she liked the one I did on myself earlier in the day, took Jacke swimming in the river closer to my parents house and all that kind pf stuff.

When I finally came home I relaxed with my new issue of the dog magazine that I get every month. That and putting some gel on my neck and took a headache pill, it’s been really humid weather and it gives me headaches sometimes.

Time to lay down properly now, no need to mess with the muscles in my neck more than necessary.

As stated in the title, I should be sleeping but my mind was racing in a million directions so I couldn’t sleep. Dang it, can’t even blame a noisy a bunny on it since he’s been nice and not been up to any mischief.

The day has been good (I know, it’s after midnight when I post this but you get the point) and didn’t turn out boring as I thought it would when I woke up.
First we spent a lot of time on the balcony, just talking, looking after the plants and stuff like that. It was really sunny and hot today, the max temperature here where we live today was 83.12F and for everyone not knowing this, that is warm for a Swedish summer (we get a lot of rain some summers)
As I mentioned earlier, I accidentally burned my shoulder in the sun (I usually stay away or use sunscreen) Not that big of a deal cause it didn’t get that bad, just red, doesn’t hurt at all or anything like that.

I managed to get Lev to go with me to the store in our area with very little persuasion, which was nice cause we could get that 50 liter bag of soil that we needed. As I am strong as a grizzly bear I carried the bag, or well, halfway where Lev took over

I replanted some of my plants and I actually threw some out. I don’t really like throwing them out but we were low on space and I know that 3 tomato plants is fine, we don’t need twice as many. I hope to see some improvement in the kiwi now when they got more room, hopefully they’ll come in nicely, that and my small pomegranate trees, cause they’re my favorites. I like to grow “exotic” things to see if I can pull it off and Lev likes to grow herbs and other stuff you can eat cause it’s useful.

Around 3 pm mom in Texas (Patty, Lev’s adorable mommy) called and we talked for a while on Skype which was very nice.

Well, the afternoon and evening just continued with dinner, programming/designing for Lev’s part while I read my regular beauty blogs and the news online and then later on King of The Hill in the bedroom.

Considering that it’s 01:40 am here right now I think I should try and get some sleep, I just hope that it’s not so darn hot in the bedroom, the past week it’s been over 80F in there even tho we have a fan on.

The weather is so nice over here today, very warm with a light breeze. Me and Lev been spending some time on the balcony, I sat on the sunny side and when I came in I saw that my arm and shoulder was red, hahaha. I guess that’s what you get when your skin is very fair.

After fixing with our plants we walked to the store, we finally got some new soil so after this is posted I have some replanting to do. Around 3 pm it’s fika time on the balcony, no coffee for me, I’ll stick to something cold.

Nice weather makes me sleepy and it’s been very nice weather here now the past week. So yeah, I’m very sleepy all the time.

Friday I went to my parents and had BBQ with my sister and mom. Lev was home playing some game (with a friend) and my dad was out doing something with some co-workers. Dessert was grilled bananas, and oh my, that is good dessert!

Yesterday was really hot so I spent most of my time feeling dizzy and warm, haha. Maybe I should be glad that i didn’t relocate to Africa on those cold winter days since I can’t deal with heat that good it seems? I also believe that I’m the palest kid around this country, I’m not fond of sitting in direct sun plus I burn easily so I try to stay away from the sun, this doesn’t really induce one of those nice tans so I walk around being pale during the summer too, I wonder if people laugh at me in their heads? Not that I would care anyways.

Ok, Sunday today. And I’m bored, got this feeling that I won’t be able to drag Lev out on some fun either. Well, maybe I’ll finally get myself to the store and carry home that 50 liters of soil that we need for our plants. The soil isn’t that heavy it’s just that it’s in a stupid bag that you never can get a good grip on when carrying home.

Well, I guess I need to do something with my life now and not just hang around the computer all day.

For the first time in 5 days I woke up without either pain in my neck or a headache, all thanks to the voltaren gel I bought yesterday. I can’t describe how nice that was.

The day has been decent, it’s been hot and kinda humid even tho the sky has been clouded and it’s been really windy. I’ve felt dizzy and weak the whole day, I don’t think that I’ve adjusted with the warm weather yet, I need to eat better and drink more.

Spent most of my time inside since I felt so dizzy, just went out to the store with Lev to stock up on some groceries.

Right now it’s 20:30 pm and almost time for King of the Hill in the bedroom, I’m already in bed with the laptop and I hear Little Lev in here too somewhere, just gotta get Lev in here too

Well, time to switch to my new pajama. Shorts and tank top with Hello Kitty on them, of course

They called from GameStop, a call we missed but we figured they wanted one of the following:
* To tell us that they got the game (Ghostbusters, PS3)
* To tell us that they didn’t get the game.

Lev called them back and they had the game in so we went out to Nova Lund, again Haha. But yeah, we got the game and then we also made a pit stop at Rusta where we bought a new fan, cashews, drinks and the first Destroy all humans game on xbox.

The fan was a must, Lev cannot sleep without one (no matter how much I complain that I get cold from in the winters) and the one we had broke a couple of weeks ago when I moved it. I just grabbed it cause I needed to move it while I was vacuum cleaning and it just snapped in two half’s I fixed it though, with tons of tape and a piece of wood to keep it steady, I can be quite a handy woman sometimes
Cashews wasn’t a must but it was a good deal and I think it’s Lev’s favorite snack (besides salt and vinegar chips, not the Swedish kind) I’ve heard him say that if he could only pick one food to eat for the rest of his life he would pick cashew nuts. I for one would go with pizza, endless possibilities for toppings, even tho I’m a vegetarian.
Destroy all humans is a really funny game and for 99 kr you gotta get it if you like the game and collect games, hence why Lev got it.

Haven’t done much other than driven to the mall twice, it’s been too hot for anything more serious than that. I put up another pair of curtains (panel curtains) in the bedroom to keep the sunlight out, it’s so darn bright in the mornings and then I assembled the new fan. The old fan kept me busy for a while, I got the idea that I was gonna disassemble it as much as I could cause I wanted to see what all the parts looked like, it worked, the fan is in pieces in a trash bag that I have to take out the trash later tonight.
Oh, I’ve also been hanging out with our bunny today. Little Lev likes the weather, he’s so much friendlier when it’s hot outside, if it rains a lot he gets all cranky He spoiled rotten tho, he has had both lettuce, cracker, a cashew nut and watermelon today. My little boy.
